Town Council Management Changes (From 2025)

From 1 August, there will be changes to Town Council boundaries across Singapore. This affects a number of households in Chai Chee and neighbouring estates.

Some households will now come under East Coast Town Council, while others will be transferred to Pasir Ris-Changi Town Council or Tampines Town Council.

If your household is newly part of East Coast Town Council, here’s what you can expect:

Your monthly S&CC payments will now be made to East Coast Town Council.
There is no change to your current S&CC rates.

Your S&CC payments will now go to the new Town Council from 1 August.
You will receive onboarding info directly from them.
Maintenance and estate queries should be directed to the new teams.

Q1. How do I know if my block is affected?

You can refer to the list of affected blocks on this page or view our interactive map.

In addition, notices should have been put up in your block’s lift to inform you of the change in Town Council. If you did not see one or are still unsure, feel free to reach out to us directly and we’ll be happy to assist.

Q2. Will my S&CC charges change?

If your block is now under East Coast Town Council, there is no change to your current S&CC rates.

If your block is now under another Town Council, please check with them directly for their latest S&CC rates and payment instructions.

Q3. Where do I send feedback now?

Q4. What if I paid S&CC to the wrong Town Council?

Not to worry — if you’ve made an S&CC payment to the wrong Town Council, your payment will be reviewed and redirected where necessary.

Please contact the Town Council you made payment to for assistance. They will guide you on how to proceed and help confirm your payment records. We will do our best to support a smooth transition.
